The Cleevewold

Sunday 26th March

Sandra took on the Cleevewold, a gruelling 14 mile cross country race which takes in the highest points of the Cotswolds. A really tough race this one, and Sandra showed her Hardcore Harriers spirit by completing it. Thanks to Barry Cornelius at Oxon Races for the photo!

Sunday 19th March

Simon Pipe ran the 31 miles of the LDWA Cerne Giant off-road challenge event in 6 hours and 15 minutes on Sunday 19 March (but walked up the 11 hills).  He had intended only to jog a bit of it but got carried away. He felt quite ill afterwards!

Banbury 15

Sunday 19th March

It was great to see a strong turnout from the Harriers at the Banbury 15, and the race certainly proved to be a test for all of us. Tough conditions and a very tough course. Well done everyone on some great running. I think there may be a few club standards getting logged here!

Lisa and Simon Preston again headed down south to take on the last in the Imperial Series 10 races. This time is was the Larmer Tree 10 mile race. It's fair to say that there were a few hills on the route! (understatement of the year!), so a massive congratulations to both Lisa and Simon for completing this one and the series as a whole. And what a piece of bling!!
