From Richard Hart:
I ran the half marathon in a new PB!

They say ‘The course is gently undulating round the reservoir, with great views the whole way round’ option are a half marathon, a 10k or a 5k.

I say ‘ a really well organised event, the course is flat for someone from Hook Norton! The different distance choices are great and means they all finish about the same time. Good to see Two other Harriers running. Richard Tew and Helen. ‘

Gerry McCabe's Hendon Brook Race, Nelson, Lancashire - 3rd July 2022

From Richard:

They say; This race is probably the toughest road race in the UK over this distance. It is very scenic but also very challenging with some steep hills (over 2,000ft of ascent!!) and descents. It has a legendary status with all the runners that have completed this event.

I say. Wow, that was hard. Many long and steep hills, the toughest at about 11 miles. Really pleased with my time and glad I entered.
