Another brilliant day at the Hooky Christmas Canter is over. Thank you to everyone who joined us today in less than ideal conditions (I can't believe it literally started raining as the runners set off!). Despite the weather it was great to see so many happy smiling faces whilst tackling a really tough slippery and muddy course in the Cotswolds.
I know we had a large waiting list this year as we sold out fairly early, so we will endeavour to work out how to cater for more runners next year, but get in early and make sure you secure you spot if you're planning to join us!
We would be really grateful if you could write a short review of our race at RaceCheck.com. It's free to sign up and is a great resource for all runners looking for the next race to run.
Congratulations to all runners who took part in the Christmas Canter this year, we hope you enjoyed it! Please find the results below:
Fancy dress? What fancy dress?! Keith Rochester enjoy this years Christmas Canter dressed as a Banana! As you do! (Thanks to Barry Cornelius for this one!)

Simon was marshaling on the course and managed to capture these without even looking through the view finder! :o)
Our annual cross country race takes place over a picturesque 7(ish) mile course. Starting from the Hook Norton Sports and Social Club, the course takes you through the beautiful Cotswold countryside. In the festive spirit, fancy dress is encouraged with a prizes for the best dressed runners, as well as Christmas puds for 1st men and women. All competitors get to enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine on finishing!
