Uffington White Horse Gallop- July 28th
Anwen & Beth said:
The race was so fab. Almost entirely trail, taking in some cracking hills. We saw Ashdown House and the famous horse at White Horse Hill. Highly recommended. Anwen and I will both be back.
If you are interested then it is a half marathon distance with 1200ft of ascent.

Ducklington Dash 5K- July 17th
The route is part of the Oxfordshire race calendar and is fast and flat on a mixed terrain of road, track and grass. The course is an out & back along the Cross- and Down-Valley ways starting from the picture-perfect village of Ducklington, near Witney, in West Oxfordshire and will be chip-timed from a gun start, so this is an excellent opportunity to go for that personal best.
Compton Verney Half & 10K- July 14th

Clevewold Trail Half - March 24th
The organisers describe as
The Cleevewold is a tough and hilly 14 mile multi-terrain race. The race starts near to race HQ at the medieval Postlip tithe barn and covers the highest points of the Cotswold hills on Cleeve common, before heading into the countryside and returning to Postlip via the Belas Knap neolithic burial mound. The event was first held in 1990 from Cleeve Hill Golf Club, with the race moving to its Postlip start and the route changing in 1992.
The race has been held each year since, apart from in 2001 due to the outbreak of foot and mouth disease. Slight alterations were made to the course in 2004 and this route continues to be used for the race.

Dirt Run @ Irchester Country Park - 21st January 2024
From the organiser: "Formerly called The Wellingborough Multi Terrain Series, we are pleased to offer this two round multi terrain run at Irchester Country Park with a choice of 3 distances: 5, 10 or 15K. This year we are back to the uphill version, running the event in the opposite direction to 2023
Whether you’re looking for a multi terrain fun run, take your parkrun off road, want to practice the run leg of your triathlon, or run a serious race in some stunning surrounds, then the varied terrain of the Jurassic Irchester Country Park in Northamptonshire is ideal. It doesn’t matter what ability level you are as you have three distance options . The course for all 3 distances is the same – with the 5km runners completing 1 lap, the 10km runners 2 laps, and the 15km runners 3 laps with everybody starting at the same time.
